Accountant in Malta
I work with technology companies, foreign funds, trusts and international groups that have a Maltese entity and need the accounting done properly. I hold a CPA warrant in Malta under the Accountancy Profession Act and I'm ACCA qualified. I trained in audit at PwC.
What I handle
- Technology companies. Financial statements, management accounts, corporate tax and VAT, including cross-border digital services. Fractional CFO support for founders, boards and investors.
- Foreign funds and fund structures. Accounting and financial reporting for Malta funds, SPVs and their holding entities, working alongside the fund administrator, depositary and auditors.
- Trusts and foundations. Accounts, financial statements and tax compliance for trusts, foundations and family holding structures.
- Holding and international structures. Malta holding companies with foreign shareholders or subsidiaries, intra-group flows, consolidation and shareholder tax refund claims.
Who this suits
Companies and structures where the accounting needs judgement: more than one entity, foreign shareholders, investment flows, cross-border VAT, or reporting to a board or investors. You want one accountant who understands the whole structure and answers the phone.
Who it doesn't suit
Sole traders and small businesses looking for basic bookkeeping or a single tax return. I'm not the right fit for that work. OpenAccountants publishes its prices for bookkeeping and tax and is a better place to start.
How I work
I run the practice on the same AI systems I build in public in the series. Routine preparation is automated. Every number that leaves the practice is reviewed and signed off by me.
Fees
Every engagement is quoted after a scoping call, based on the number of entities, transaction volume and reporting requirements. The quote and the scope are agreed in writing before any work starts.
Send a short note on the structure: the entities, the countries involved and what you need.
